The Beach (my recount)

On Saturday I went to Taipa Beach. As I got out of my Uncle Mango's  truck I felt the soft sand under my feet. I went up to  Rocky's rock ,well we call it that because my dad always goes there every week and his name is rocky .My little brother Ryder

slipped of a rock and cut his knee. We had a picnic well more like snacks we had chips lollies and fizzy drink.

I caught like 20 crabs by the time I finished catching them my dad had caught 

1 snapper,2 kahawais and 3 gurnards .When we finished Ryder nearly fell in the water but I grabbed him and he cried and he got a growling because he started hitting me.The next day a possum  ate half of the snapper .THE END

Kate Sheppard

            Kate Sheppard

Kate Sheppard was born 10th march 1847,in Liverpool, England. She moved to New Zealand in the late 1860s and she died there on the 13th of July 1934. She was 87 when she died.

Kate Sheppard is famous for fighting for women's right to vote. Because of Kate Sheppard we were the first country for woman to vote. She is a role model to me because she is telling me to be strong and how to be a role model to my little sister and little brother.

Kate Sheppard is on the $10 note.

Many people believe that the old rusty house by the police station is haunted by the owner. It has been their for more than 2 years. Sometimes when i walk past, i see shadows through the windows so i quickly run.I never want to go their again but i have to because i'm moving near the house and i will be walking near there nearly every day.

My Leader

My leader is my mum…

She is as funny as a clown, always making me laugh. My mum is hard working. She will never quit her job so we have a roof over our heads and food in my stomach.

She starts her job after dropping me off at school and she comes home at 5.00 at night.

She loves me, my sister, and my brother more than anything. She is like a loving mother cat but even better. My mum is also thoughtful and kind, making sure we are safe and sound. She is as beautiful as a flower, and she has blonde browny hair. That’s why she's my leader.

Cheetahs

Cheetahs have a kinda light browny colour fur they also have black,brown or browny black spots. Adults weigh about 21-72 kg and cubs weigh 83-145 lbs. Cheetahs have tear marks from the middle of the outside of their eye that go all the way down to the outside of their mouths.                     Their habitat is Africa,plains of Asia and the middle east of India the climate is hot in Africa cold in Asia and warm in India .             Cheetahs are carnivores and predators.They eat gazelles,rabbits and much more their favourite gazelles are Thompson gazelles they also eat birds,hares,antelopes and warthogs.                     Baby cheetahs are called cubs.The mother cheetah looks after the cub for one and a half to two years before venturing of on their own.            Cheetahs can reach a top speed of 150 km per hour.Cheetahs have at least  4 rings on the bottom of  cheetahs tails.Cheetah mothers purr  like a domestic cat.

Rapunzel my fairy tale

Once upon a time  there was a beautiful girl named Rapunzel with very,very,very,very long golden hair.she had two friends named will was a dragon and maximas was a beautiful white horse .Rapunzel's boyfriends name was Iron Man his real name is Tony Stark.Rapunzel went missing one night .Will knew where she was and who took her. It was  supergirl and Rapunzel was being held in an underground lair on mystery island or snowy mountain.will thought snowy mountain he knew supergirl would pick snowy mountain  because she knew Iron Man would pick mystery island.The three  of them got on iron mans private jet they went to snowy mountain they didn't find Rapunzel there then will remembered the underground lair but supergirl watched them arrive with all her cameras every where.supergirl made it impossible to get to Rapunzel.They got past all the traps except the hologram Rapunzel's.they had to find the real Rapunzel the told them to talk and they did but the  real Rapunzel didn't talk so they undone the chains and got out of the underground lair and Rapunzel was free and they lived happily ever after.

I feel Generous to the world. I touch Water as it slowly fades away. I worry About my papa in hospital. I am friendly to everyone. I understand why some of my friends are being mean   I say I'm just telling the truth about how their acting I try to make them nice again it sometimes works I hope they belive me I am glad i’m me

All about me! Kia ora my name is Lani I go to mangonui school.              I have brown hair and brown eyes and I'm tanned. I look like my dad.                                                                                                                                                                                                     I hate playing soccer,cricket,tennis, and walking and running for a long time. I wish my teachers knew I'm smart,funny,fun and silly oh and good writer and good listener. I live with my mum ,big sister ,step dad 2nd house,dad ,baby brother ,baby sister  ,and step mum. The people important to me in my life are family,friend,and pets. I have five cats henry,skittles,sushi,ginger,and gray fluff and I have a dog poppy. Poppy lives with my dad and the cats with my mum I love spending time with family and friends,and I love swimming and snorkeling, and I just love family.
